I made a quick project yesterday. It still took a little bit of time, but it came out pretty good. I made Jeff laugh when I came out and said I was trying to make a cell phone holder, but it looks more like an eyeglass case. Don’t know why he found that so amusing.
The next one i make I’m going to make some changes to my non-pattern, it turned out pretty well for just winging it, don’t ya think?
I had grand plans of writing about all of my craft projects….silly me, I can’t write about them when I’m actually doing them.
Right now i’m in the middle of making placemats, a quilt, crocheting a shopping bag and some cat toys and I’m looking for my knitting needles so I can work on teaching myself that again. I guess i’m going to have order some. I have no idea where they went. The cat probably ate them.
Stay tuned, I will have some pictures, thoughts and maybe even patterns or instructions for my projects. You’ll be amazed!
It truly is taking up too much time. I don’t have enough time to crochet and quilt. By the time I get finished with dinner in the evening it’s close to 7pm. If I need to workout, then the night is just done. If I get to work on my crafts, I have about an hour and a half before I need to start getting ready for the next day.
I really am enjoying all of the crafting I’m doing. I will finish my tote bags this weekend. It’s been good practice for starting where I did, now i need to get more patterns. Next week I’m going to take a week of vacation and lay out the other pieces for the patterns and actually do it according to the directions. I’m having too much fun!!
