I’m watching COPS (don’t ask me why, for some reason I enjoy it). Whenever they shoot from a city I’m familiar with, I try to see if I can recognize where they are. Tonight must be Palm Beach County night. PBC is big, we have some sketchy areas, we have cities, but one thing that is very distinctive is The Acreage. We have big lots, we have dirt roads, it’s pretty easy to figure out when you’re in The Acreage…..and yes, I had the distinctive pleasure of watching my neighborhood featured on COPS. The Acreage itself is fairly big, so it is hard to say exactly where it was at. I wasn’t able to catch a street sign, but I knew it was The Acreage. Wonderful.
I’m now watching the second episode of COPS in PBC. At least now they are in District 1, in an urban area.

Should paradise be capitalized?
I don’t know there the time goes, but it’s Saturday night again. The weeks go fast, the weekends go faster!
I had lunch with Juleen today. We need to get together more often. I really enjoy talking with her. We share some things in common and exploring those always lead to good conversation. The food wasn’t all that good, but that wasn’t the primary reason for being there anyway.
The girls are doing well. I wish they would relax a little more and go up to Jeff more. They seem to have bonded with me, mainly because I’m with them 24/7. Yum Yum is still a little skittish. She doesn’t like to be picked up and she still doesn’t like a lot of attention from Jeff.
What else is going on? Work, well, work is work, still working too many hours. Sill liking my job and the people i work with.
I’m really living a pretty boring life here, and that’s okay. I don’t need a lot of drama in my life. That just takes too much energy. Jeff got our regs serviced, so that mean diving! I hope next weekend is looking good. I hope Rex will still speak to us. I don’t think we’ve talked to him in almost a year. I hope I remember how to dive! I’ll have to get my camcorder out and charged. I think I want to take that the next time we go diving.
Hmmm, I think I have the munchies…guess I’ll see if I have anything!

Oh - it’s Monday - The Bachelor is on! Drama Drama Drama. After so many seasons, you would think they would try something different, but no. The women are still catty. They still have the classic over-achievers, the barbie look-a-likes, the sorority sister fake friendliness.
Why do I do this to myself? Can’t stop watching the train-wreck

Aren’t they cute?? I took the day off (YAY and actually didn’t work - thought I may do some tomorrow to not be completely behind). I pretty much wasted the day, and that was perfectly fine!! I was did have some fun photo time with the girls. Wu jumped on the footstool. Margarita started washing her, and I was able to get this cute picture.
They are all getting along well. The only time they hiss is when we start playing with the feather on the string and they all want it, which happened last night.
Yum is still a little high strung, you can pick her up, but not really cuddle her. You can’t pick her up if you come straight at her. I don’t know how we’re going to get her into a carrier again. Trying to get her will be an adventure. But we’ll worry that another day.

It is another train wreck. The girls couldn’t be worse. He’s not all that, but they all think so. Silly girls. Oh he’s perfect, he’s a doctor, he’s an officer in the Navy, he’s an athelete. blah blah blah. But yes, I’ll be watching, on and off. Who cn turn away from a train wreck?

I know, I always have strange dreams, but this one was one of the stranger ones. I was in a pool, trying to teach someone to dive. In reality, Jeff already certified this person. Before that I was in a school auditorium, watching a show, with my cats. Then I wasn’t sure if my cats would find their way back to me. After the scuba thing, we were using a towel as an intercom system. Then I was talking to a guy I work with. He was told he was the smartest person in his school and he wanted to make sure he still was. The dream ended with my trying to take my contacts out and them sticking. Those were just the strange highlights. There were other wierd details, like the swimming pool being in the basement of my mom’s house.
I think my mind was playing an April Fool’s joke on me.
