My Random Thoughts

I have a lot to say, but just can’t get myself settled to say anything. I’ve been on vacation this week and it’s been wonderful. I could get used to this. What I have figured out is that there is nothing on TV during the day.

So what have I been doing with my vacation? I napped (naps are important). I met Gwyn for wine on Tuesday night. During the day I putzed around, planted herbs, worked on landscaping lights, doing laundry and cleaning up and stopped at a yarn store before meeting her. Wednesday I went to the spa for the day and was basically worthless Wednesday evening (but man I was relaxed!). Thursday I had to rush poor Yum to the vet with a high fever. They kept her. I’m waiting for the vet to call to see if I can go get her.

What I haven’t done is work on my crafts as much as I would have liked. I still have a couple of days, so I’m hoping to get to that today. I also haven’t put up the border in the bathroom or  cleaned the closets, but I still have a couple of days.

Another thing I haven’t done (which I’m quite proud of) is check in with work.  HAH and they thought i would, but not a glance. The ringer is off, the laptop is off, the blackberry is off and its a beautiful thing. I think I want another week like this. No, not bored at all.

And on that note, time to shower.
