….but I couldn’t resist hitting the blog first. I’m sitting in charlotte. I can’t wait to get back home. I want to get back to my craft projects. The AE for my account asked me if I’m disengaged since i mentioned I was clocking out at 5pm. Uh, not really, but I have hobbies. I want to be doing my hobbies, leave me alone.
When I get home, the first thing I’m going to be working on is my tote bags for my yarn projects. Then I’ll move on to pinning the quilt.
In the meantime I’m going to take a shower and get ready for work. Geez, I’m tired.

Yay, long weekend and it’s only Saturday. I took yesterday off and got all of those chores out of the way, now I can look forward to a long weekend of doing nothing but NOTHING. Seriously, i’m going to go to the gym (its too humid to walk), go the grocery store, and possibly go to the petstore and Joann’s, but that’s it. I’m going to work on my baby blanket, work on some cards and sort through the clothes in my closet. Oh yeah, and i’m going to hang out in the pool.

We were at one of our favorite places Friday night. The steakhouse is on the pricey side, so we don’t go there more than once a month, but we’ve been there enough that the wait staff recognizes us. For the last number of times we’ve been asking for Blair. He has the right amount of irreverence about life in general that he appeals to us.
Being the creatures of habit that we are we typically order the same thing. I may change out the wine selection, but Jeff’s order is the same from top to bottom. We’ve been playing with Blair to see if he can remember what we drink and what we’ll order. We were doing our game when from the line of servers comes, strip, large, medium, bombay saphire and tonic. Mark, the server who was able to quote Jeff’s order book and verse, stood there with a smirk on his face that was begging for someone to slap it off. I’ve never seen a smackdown come with such finesse. Mark’s waited on us a few times, but not enough for him to know Jeff’s order like that. Poor Blair, he was trying to get the knife out of his back the rest of the meal.
That was the best laugh I’ve had in a long time.
